Do I Have to Pay Hotel Fees for Service Animals?
Service animals don’t follow the same restrictions as pets and emotional support animals. Hotels must allow service animals regardless of pet policy or weight restrictions, treating them as if they were an extension of their human handler. Guests with service animals do not have to pay pet-related fees, nor do they need to show proof that their dog performs a specific task.
